Come and shadow me!

After seeing a gap in the market and remembering my owner struggles when starting out, in 2022 I launched a Bespoke in person mentorship experience and made it available to aspiring trainers, walkers or owners wanting to further their understanding of dog training. My personal style of learning is very hands on, being in a real time environment with dogs and I wanted to create something that was accessible to this type of learner.

The program can either be for 1 week, or just for a day and fully catered to each individual meaning you bring your own dogs and we work on your personal goals. Throughout our time together you’re involved in the work I do with client’s dogs, my personal dogs and how I navigate the industry as a whole. Some of the most popular areas of focus students visit for are learning how to build motivation, adding the lead or e collar and the every day or focused heel.

  • The mentorship is a hands-on, in-person dog training experience where you shadow me, learning practical canine training techniques in real-time. You’ll work with both your dog and mine, gaining valuable skills in handling, motivation, and everyday obedience. The program is fully bespoke, designed around your personal training goals.

  • This program is ideal for aspiring dog trainers, professional dog walkers, and dog owners looking to deepen their understanding of dog behavior and training. Whether you’re starting out or want to refine specific skills, the mentorship is tailored to your experience and objectives.

  • Bringing your dog is encouraged, as the mentorship focuses on your personal training goals. You’ll work directly with your dog and mine. Even if you don’t bring a dog, you’ll gain real-world dog training insights by observing how I work with different dogs and handle everyday training scenarios.

  • You can choose between:

    • One Day: 5 immersive hours of training (£400 + VAT)

    • One Week: 5 full days of shadowing and hands-on dog training (£1450 + VAT)

    If you’d like a different duration, bespoke packages are available. Whether it’s a 3-day intensive or a 10-day deep dive, we’ll create a program that fits your goals and schedule.

  • Your program will be fully tailored to your objectives, but some popular areas of focus include:

    • Building motivation in dogs

    • Adding a lead or e-collar

    • Everyday or focused heel work

    • Real-world dog training techniques and client handling

    You can choose to focus on specific skills, or cover a broad range of professional dog training methods.

  • No prior experience is necessary, but the mentorship is designed for all levels. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals, or an experienced trainer wanting to explore different dog training styles, techniques, and industry insights, the program will be fully tailored to your experience and goals.
